drawings inspired by ponyo!

hayao miyazaki's most recent movie, ponyo on the cliff, is FINALLY getting officially released in the US august 14! i've been watching a bootleggedly translated copy of this movie for A YEAR NOW, thanks... here are the drawings i did inspired by it for some of my classes. they're from like a year ago, but still good. enjoy!

















not the best editing job, but i just uninstalled photoshop to send my computer back so i had to edit them in iphoto boooooo.
i'm gearing up for my trip to salt lake city to represent FSU at the national outdoor retailer convention... woo! so that means finally getting some drawings online. now i can put my illustrations on the back of my adorable tiny business cards, courtesy of moo.com! this also means you can expect to see a bit of work over the next few days as i get my portfolio together.
